Every Tuesday is Toddler Tuesday at Werribee Open Range Zoo where terrific activities will keep the fives and under 'wildly' entertained all day. Kids can feed giraffe and meerkats, take a kid-friendly safari tour across the savannah or sing, dance and play to African-inspired songs in our African Village Dance Party!

MINI ZOO KEEPERS

Children can enjoy a 90-minute zoo adventure with face-to-face encounters with meerkats, frogs, lizards, snakes and possums, and then go behind-the-scenes and feed our beautiful giraffe.

Prices: Children and adults $40 per person (1 child must be accompanied by 1 adult)/bookings required

Times: 9.30am-11am

JUNIOR SAFARI

An energetic 35-minute safari bus tour for young children and their families. The tours feature puppets, music and lots of animal action.

Prices: Included in general admission price (no pre-bookings required)

Times: 11.15am and 12.15pm

VILLAGE DANCE PARTY

Tiny tots and the young at heart can dance, sing and laugh in the zoo's highly interactive musical dance theatre. Special zoo songs, written by Melbourne musician Lamine Sonko, encourage children to play bongos, wiggle hips, stamp feet and 'call animals to water'.

Prices: Included in general admission price (main African Safari Hut, near zoo entrance)/no bookings required.
