
Dreamworld has awarded $28,930 to Zoos Victoria's conservation partner in Papua New Guinea to support critical field research on tree kangaroos.
The research is part of the Tenkile Conservation Program and will be undertaken by the Tenkile Conservation Alliance. This project's goal is to improve conservation management of the Torricelli Mountains through knowledge generated by research on the two tree kangaroos, ie. Scott's Tree Kangaroo or Tenkile, and the Golden-mantled Tree Kangaroo or Weimang. The project will:
