1. Much of Australia’s native wildlife is found nowhere else and it’s disappearing
Australia’s wildlife is under increasing pressure from habitat loss, introduced species, disease and the impacts of a changing climate. More than 20% of Australian mammals are threatened with extinction! You can help Zoos Victoria’s conservation programs with your donation to help stem the tide of extinctions.

2. We can’t do our great work without you!
Around 30% of our funds come from government. This means we still have to raise the other 70% from admission fees, retail sales and from philanthropic gifts from people like you.

3. You’ll be supporting real conservation work
At Zoos Victoria our work extends beyond our three great zoos with eight Australian threatened species recovery programs and seven international conservation programs. They are making a real difference to helping save animal populations and their habitat as well as contributing to scientific knowledge.
