Attention all party animals: come join the birthday celebrations at Healesville Sanctuary on Sunday 31 May 2009.

Healesville Sanctuary has been a much loved and treasured asset for all Victorians for 75 years, attracting more than 300,000 visitors every year. To celebrate its 75th birthday, visitors will enjoy animal encounters, didgeridoo and community choir performances, lamington cake and specially created points of historical interest throughout the Sanctuary.

Visitors are guaranteed a fantastic Yarra Valley food experience when the come to the Sanctuary, embracing the local region's fresh, seasonal produce. Special kids' packs are offered for hungry little visitors.

Over the birthday weekend, there is free entry for anyone celebrating their birthday on that weekend, anyone turning 75 years old this year or anyone born in 1975 (photo proof required).
